Description

The B-4998, swing up grab bar, from Bobrick, raises to make space for a user to navigate in the space around a commode. It lowers when support is needed. Constructed of 18-8 type 304, 18 gauge stainless steel tubing, with 1 ¼” (32mm) outside diameter. Backplate is 3/16” (5mm) thick stainless steel.
  • Overall dimensions of 6 ⅛” (155mm) wide by 8 ¾” (220mm) tall
  • Projects 29” (735mm) from finish face of wall
  • Dimensions allow for ADA compliance when properly mounted
  • Can support loads in excess of 500 pounds (227kg) when properly installed
  • Counterweighted design prevents raised bar from falling
